All of our summer programs that are 3 weeks or longer offer optional college credit through the University of Montana (UM) for for an additional fee. The classes aren’t your typical lectures—they’re hands-on and all about real-world experiences. Registering for college credit may allow you to pay for some or all of your program using your 529 plan.logo University of Montana

About Optional College Credit

Courses are offered through the University of Montana and cover a variety of topics. You can earn up to 3 semester credits on 3–4 week programs or up to 6 credits on 5–6 week summer programs. To be eligible for credit, you must be 17 or older when the program begins. More course offerings are coming soon!

USING YOUR 529 Funds

Apply Your Education Savings Towards Your Program Cost

Registering for college credit may allow you to pay for some or all of your program using your 529 funds.

 

Every 529 plan has different rules. Contact your plan administrator to find out how your plan defines a “qualifying expense” and their requirements for payment
